The New York State Municipal Archives has taken an already ridiculous price for a record copy and increased the fee by 50%.
Normally, ordering records from state archives can be a valuable source of information. Ordering records from New York, in particular, is useful but can be expensive... especially since getting accurate information often requires ordering numerous records.
